Deploy to own CDN

In this section, you will learn how to deploy SegmnetStream SDK to own CDN.

To install SegmentStream on your CDN - you need to do the following steps:

  1. Copy the snippet and paste it into the code for each page of your site.

    The SegmentStream snippet should bedeclared after the global variable window.digitalData and the jquery plugin.

  2. Every 5 minutes, you need to check the md5 hash of the two files. If the files have changed - you need to download a new version of the file and update its local version. The latest version of the initialization script: https://cdn.segmentstream.com/project/<your_project_id>.js The latest version of the sdk: https://cdn.segmentstream.com/sdk/segmentstream.min.js

  3. In the updated SegmentStream snippet it is necessary to uncomment the SEGMENTSTREAM_INIT_URL and SEGMENTSTREAM_SDK_URL global variables to assign them the absolute path to the local version of the files on your own CDN.

    always use absolute paths with http/https
